SIZZLING TIPS FOR GRIDDLE MAINTENANCE
A well-maintained griddle delivers consistent heat, better flavor and longer equipment life.
Before service:
Preheat & lightly season the surface prior to cooking
During service:
Regularly, scrape away food debris and grease buildup to
prevent off-tasting food
End of service:
Allow griddle to cool slightly, then clean with a griddle brick or
pad and a food-safe liquid cleaner
Daily:
Empty and clean grease traps, check burners, pilots and gas
connections to ensure even heating and safe operation
